Head of Risk Management ? Wholesale Banking
Location: Malaysia- Kuala Lumpur
Key Responsibilities:

• Formulate and execute risk management framework
• Develop risk management framework that supports the bank`s strategies and goals
• Oversee development and implementation of country-specific risk management plans, in line with local regulatory requirements
• Guard the interest of the global business by providing independent risk oversight
• Oversee independent assessment and monitoring of risk across the global business , in compliance with applicable laws, rules and standards within the Group
• Ensure close relationships and good rapport between local country risk heads, CEOs and key regulators through periodic visit and/or formal and informal communication
• Ensure that non-compliances and regulatory breaches, if any, are reported to the relevant regulators
• Identify talent across countries to build a regional team and develop capabilities to support the regional business
• Develop a centre of excellence for managing risk, within an integrated framework by drawing on the expertise of highly skilled Risk Managers, (credit, market and operational);
• Ensure close relationships and good rapport between local country risk heads, CEOs and key regulators through periodic visit and/or formal and informal communication
• Ensure that non-compliances and regulatory breaches, if any, are reported to the relevant regulators

Ideal candidate

• Relevant market/credit risk management experience in reputable Bank
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience with leadership experience
• Regional experience is preferred
• CFA/FRM holders are preferred
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
